I was back in my home town and noticed on the way home from a friends house the high school football stadium lights were still on. It was around 1 am, so I took flight to capture this image and thought it turned out great!
I was out today taken some aerial photos of a park here in Peoria, IL. You can see an aerial picture of the play area I was able to capture on a clear sunny day. It's truly sad to see any building catch fire, especially a historic one like the Farmington High School. My wife attended this high school. I was getting off my shift from the Peoria Fire Department and some of our machines were heading out on a fire call to the Farmington High School. I headed out there to see what was happening and captured some aerial video and pictures. I shared the video and photos with local news agencies. CNN also showed interest in my work.
